Company description
Founded in 1999, the company was one of the first 100% renewable energy suppliers in the UK. The company’s main aim is to encourage people to move to renewable sources for the energy needs, in regards to electricity, to help fight climate change.

Sustainable achievements
- Juliet is a climate scientist, renewable pioneer, businesswoman, and environmental entrepreneur
- In 2013, Juliet was awarded an OBE for services to renewables
- She is soon releasing her book, The Green Start-up: Make Your Business Better for the Planet
- Good Energy has had a significant effect on the fight for climate change for the last two decades and continues to contribute to climate action
- Since the company began, it has helped to increase the amount of renewable energy used within the UK and has helped to encourage the improvement of new energy technologies
- Juliet is a trustee of the Energy Institute professional membership body and has been since 2019. In 2022, she was appointed as its President
- Juliet hosts the Great Green Questions podcast
- Juliet currently sits on the board of the Renewable Energy Association and Innovate UK
- She is also part of several think tanks including: Energy Systems Catapult, Aurora, Oxford Energy, and LSE’s Grantham Institute
- As she is the first female CEO of a UK energy supplier, Juliet is a member of the POWERful Women’s Energy Leaders Coalition
