Indigenous Peoples Day will highlight the crucial role of Indigenous Peoples’
intergenerational knowledge, practices, and leadership in climate action and the preservation
of planetary health. Emphasis will also be placed on enhancing mechanisms to facilitate their
direct access to finance. The day aims to significantly fortify the position of Indigenous Peoples, underscoring the pressing need for a fully inclusive, all-of-society approach, particularly in the
